Merciful Hearts Foundation (MHF) provided pre and post-natal care and medical services to 125 pregnant women. Besides providing pre and post-natal care, MHF carried out community outreach programs and provided medical services to infants, children, and poor pregnant women. Among the seriously ill during the outreach were 10 pregnant women who had malaria and high blood pressure, 10 pregnant women tested positive for HIV infection, and 1 pregnant woman was queried for pre-eclampsia.
– 125 women delivered their babies with minor and few complications.
- 10- women delivered their babies by cesarean section.
- 2- of the ten had ruptured abdomen while delivering at home by a local woman. By God’s mercy, the babies survived because MHF intervened and paid for all medical services.

August 23 & 24 – 2015 – Dr. Nweze Nnakwe and Dr. Emeka Nnakwe, Director, participated in the Epiphany Catholic Church Fellowship Weekend event. Seven new Ambassadors joined the Merciful Hearts Foundation at the event.
